I listened to her and watched a few videos the melodies are MEATLOAF. She gave it away on her Barbara Walter interview. Well, she put it together and now is famous. Very clever to say the least. It's all about getting attention and all you have to do is take your clothes off, kiss chicks, etc. to get up the fame ladder today. Pretty ez think about it. Thinking about it isn't enough, it is execution. This was perfect "EXECUTION." So, now, is this music or is this music? What is music? If it sounds good it is good. This makes money, people buy it, it that what music is? I had a dream, too. All of do. Now, I go out and ride my waverunner. I didn't understand how to sell out at 23 years old. That' the first thing you have to learn is how to sell out - SELL YOURSELF.

OK, someone needs to make that happen. Either that or "I would do anything for love"

I actually just Googled "Lady Gaga Meatloaf" because I can't stop imagining Mr. Loaf singing a Bad Romance/ Bat Out Of Hell mashup. I like the fact that she is an actual singer/songwriter who can, in fact, sing, and doesn't peddle sex the way Madonna does, but, as someone who heard the acclaim before the music, I was surprised to discover her work is often a mix of borderline cheesy "Guido Club" disco and Meatlovian ballads.
On one hand, it works, on the other, it's just nice to see a new artist who strives to be creative and isn't part of a stagnant pop culture machine that, in almost every medium, deals mostly in retreads, remakes, and completely manufactured "talent" Hope to see her succeed if it means we can get past the worship of some of the names that have stayed too long at the fair
